You may recall the scene in The Matrix, when Neo finally meets Morpheus, the man being sought by the government as a terrorist and subversive. He explains to Neo why he has been brought to him, and he gives Neo a choice: Take the blue pill, and wake up in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe. Take the red pill, you stay in wonderland and and you find out how deep the rabbit hole goes. Neo makes a choice that alters his life forever, and changes the course of the world.
“There is something wrong with the world…”, Morpheus tells Neo. How true that is. There is something very wrong in the world. For those of us who have a Biblical world view and believe in our founding documents, it seems we have entered the realm of the surreal. It feels like we’re living in wonderland, and we’re tumbling down the rabbit hole with no way out. Nothing is right anymore. The world is upside down. Right is wrong and wrong is right.
How different from the world of my father. Almost 65 years ago, he fought in WWII as a US Marine. Serving on the USS Teton in the South Pacific, he and another Marine went on a secret mission, crawling up on the beach-head on Okinawa to set up radio communications in the caves before the invasion. They were surrounded by death and fear, but Dad had a faith in God and trusted in His protection. They fulfilled their mission, and after the war Dad came home and raised his family. He along with thousands of other heroes did nothing short of save the world from tyranny.
But today we once again find ourselves living under the spector of tyrannical rule. We have elected a President, who as it turns out, people know less of him by the day. He literally skyrocketed from relative obscurity in corrupt Chicago politics and “community organizing” to state senator, then to US Senator, and finally to the highest office in the land in an amazingly short time. During the Presidental campaign, the man could seemingly hypnotize entire crowds and drone on and on in speeches that contained very little true substance. Now that he is our President, what we do learn of him is becoming more alarming by the day. His radical associations, his Marxist ties and beliefs, and, I’m going to say it….the question of “Is he really qualified to be President?” is truly a legitimate question.
With Obama as President, and our Congress controlled by radical socialists, we are witnessing the literal deconstruction of our economy and the dismantling of our society. It has happened at a frightening and astonishing pace. I have come to the conclusion that either these guys are total idiots, or they are totally corrupt and evil. Since no one is that stupid, I think the latter is the correct answer. Chilling, isn’t it? So that means they are using our current economic condition as an opportunity to further their agenda. And it doesn’t end well for us.
Where is it all going? What is the end-game? For those of us with a Biblical worldview, it’s becoming more obvious. What is God’s Will for the United States? What will happen next?
These are questions I intend to explore and discuss on this blog. If these are the end-times as prophesied in the Bible, then all of this is God’s Will. The first question you need to ask yourself is “Red or blue pill? Will you go on believing what the government and the mainstream media tell you, or will you seek God’s heart and follow Him?” If you are willing to take the Red Pill, and consider that prophecy may be unfolding before us, then you have just taken a huge step. The next steps are to find out what God would have us do in the time we have left, what he is leading us to do to prepare and why, and where this all may be going. I don’t have the answers, but let’s find them together.
